Transfer Interstate Licence

You must change over your driver licence and vehicle registration within three (3) months of taking up permanent residence in the Northern Territory.

To Transfer your interstate licence you will need to provide:

• completed form L1 - Application for a Northern Territory Driver/Rider Licence.
• Evidence of Identity and Residency.
